Samsung announced three new DVD burner drive (super-WriteMaster): model SH-S223Q with SATA interface and SH-S222A and SH-S222L with PATA interface . All those drive ensure the burning speed ( single-layer disks DVD DVD±R 22X ) up to  29,7 MB/s.
The important special feature of  SH-S222 and SH-S223 series is the possibility to burn disc with the increased speed, which exceeds the indicated in disc marking . For example, disks 16X can be written at 22X, and 8X disks @ 12x .. etc . The maximum burning speeds , ensured by drives, composes: DVD±R : 22X, DVD-RAM : 12X, DVD+R dual layer : 16X, DVD- R dual layer : 12X, DVD+RW : 8X, DVD-RW : 6X. All three drives support lightScribe technology . | ||
