Assocaite reports that NVIDIA partners already began to obtain the models of integrated chipset series MCP82, which will be presented during January 2009, and they will ensure the support of AMD processors socket AM3. Naturally, they will preserve compatability with socket AM2 and Socket AM2+ processors .
The chipset series MCP82 will obtain a graphic core with directX 10, Hybrid SLI, CUDA and PureVideo HD support. It also support eight-channel sound ( LPCM ). Like the south bridge AMD SB750, MCP82 will have access to the high overclocking potential of phenom processors through the ACC function .
MCP82-S1 Chipset will ensure support to the 3- way SLI and 35 lines PCI express, divided between seven devices. Motherboard on its base can be equipped with three slots PCI express x16, which work according to x16 + x8 + x8, and also three slots PCI express x1. MCP82-S2 chipset possibilities are modest: only 19 lines PCI express and the support of classical SLI according to x8 + x8.
Both chipset support six ports SATA-300 and disk massifs level RAID 0, 1, 0+1 and 5, Gigabit controller and twelve ports USB 2.0. Related Products :
