The video card cooling system zalman VF1000 LED is well known, but in the list of compatible products from AMD on base of RV770 chip is registered only the Radeon HD 4850. It occurs, That VF1000 LED cannot cool the power elements Of radeon HD 4870 without additional radiator;.
To remove this deficiency ZM-RHS50 and ZM-RHS70 will be soon proposed to all owners of radeon HD 4850 and Radeon HD 4870 respectively. Both radiators are intended for installation in video card power elements with the use of cooler zalman VF1000 LED.  Those radiators are made from aluminum. | I have the big fan as well as the little FET heat sync
It looks copper but its like orange anodized aluminum
still they work pretty well
The ZM-RHS70 heat sync for the FETS could have been a little bigger as mine gets scorchingly hot (who knew those little default untreated guys got so ridiculously spicy!?) |
