VIA technologies company , which presented this spring the processor VIA nano, demonstrated the first motherboard standard size mini-ITX (17x17 cm) for this processor.
VIA VB8001 motherboard include the 1,6- GHz processor VIA nano, up to 4 GB DDR2 memory , network adapter gigabit LAN and two ports serial ATA.  As base for this motherboard we have the chipset VIA CN896 + VT8237S with the integrated graphic core chrome9. IGP ( supports DirectX 9.0 ), This motherboard has the built-in sound codec VT1708A (VIA vinyl 5.1) and allow the connection of discrete graphic card with PCI express x16 interface.
