July prices reduction for intel has impressed us with its generosity, having at the same time designated the intel desire to get rid from the processors with the netBurst architecture  . Meanwhile to the remained end of year period , intel did not plan considerable prices reductions for its processors , with exception of the planned on 22 October reduction in  prices of celeron D processors. Yesterday different sites, reported about the intel plans on reduction of prices for processors  series  pentium 4 during January 2007. The forthcoming autumnal prices reductions for some processors models was simultaneously fixed. In principle, There is no manychanges in family  pentium D . To January Intel desires to preserve only three models: Pentium D 915 (2.8 GHz), Pentium D 925 (3.0 GHz) and Pentium D 935 (3.2 GHz). The latter will be represented in the time  remained until January. The celeron D processors will fall in price in the next four months twice: 22 October and during January 2007. The latter will cost $163, decreasing thus price range for conroe  processors  . Moreover,  the first representative of core  Conroe- L will leave  during January 2007! There will be the model  pentium  e1040 (1.6 GHz), witch price will be arranged below  $163. Processor will have one core, 1 mb. of  cache on its second level, support  800 MHz bus. Level TDP will remain  as before (65 W); however, in practice processor will be for sure  more economical than its dual version. we  should only consider that the supports of technology EIST will be deprived for all processors series  pentium  exxxx . They will not support the technology of virtualization VT. Actually, they  will support only  EM64T and EDB (NX- bit). Other two models series pentium exxxx will leave in the second quarter of 2007. Finally, in the third quarter of the same year  expects to encounter with the celeron processors series  4XX, based on  core Conroe- L. By the way, the volume of cache in them there will be set only to 512 KB, and here the bus frequency will be equal to 533 MHz .here we will get  the long-awaited access to the high multiplier. Since the celeron processors  series  4xx must replace  processors with the architecture   netBurst  toward to the end of 2007, in these periods on the market must appear core  conroe by cost less than $100. By the way, for the sale acceleration Of intel product .this last  is going to propose processors with the architecture netBurst  in the complete set with chipset family  i915x on the special price.
