In the middle of 2009 Intel company expects to present the platform moorestown for mobile Internet- devices (MID), which will use lincroft processors generation . The latter will become the successors of present processors atom series z500, and it will obtain the integrated memory controller , graphic core and video hardware accelerator .
However, as reports associate , during March 2009 Intel will have time to refresh the existing platform menlow after the release of new processors: Atom z550 (> 1.86 GHz), Atom z534 (> 1.6 GHz) and Atom z515 (> 800 MHz). They will have a higher frequencies in comparison with the current models silverthorne. But in this case oriented to notebooks , the atom processors frequency will not exceed 1.6 GHz. | ||
