Many already reported that the processor core i 7-965 Extreme edition overclock to the frequency 4.0 GHz with air cooling , but here information about overclock at low temperature was limited . The most successful attempt should be considered as fugger's experiment using a three-stage cascade : He was able to take a screen shot at 5.4 GHz frequency, and the test super PI 1M was executed at the frequency 5.313 GHz in 07,750 seconds!!!!.  Associate in this case overclocked the core i7 processors using liquid nitrogen : the most effective methods for computer components cooling .  For stability under load it was possible to attain only the frequency 4.9 GHz, In this case super PI 1M was executed at the frequency 5119 MHz in 8,248 seconds.  Note, the maximum start up frequency was equal to 5.28 GHz. This result was obtained by Asus motherboard with frequency 220 MHz. The majority of overclockers already note , that this frequency is maximum for core i7 processors (bus). Specifically, this factor will limit the overclock of series processors core i 7 -9x0, which possess a limited multiplier. Related Products : | ||
