AMD Strategy was changed , Instead of the reasonable selection (Smarter choice) the company now look for fusion as better alternative (The future is fusion ). The main strategy is the transfer from separate products to the balanced packages delivery. As example here is the entertaining platform AMD maui. Paired with software AMD live! Media center this platform forms the final basis for HTPC creation .  This platform includes the processors AMD athlon X2 or phenom, motherboard on AMD chipset 7 series with the integrated graphic core. The sound system is based on the expansion card, which support 5.1 sound system. In future models , AMD plan to increase the number of channels to 7.1. The first motherboard , which uses the constructive indicated solution , became MSI media live DIVA 5.1 780M.  This motherboard has the standard size M -ATx : AMD 780M + SB700. There are 1x PCI-Express x16 and 1x PCI- E x1 .  The system indicated already appeared on sale. On newegg it is possible to find this motherboard and processors. Separately the motherboard cost $185 (in the complete set enters AMD live!). Collection with the processor phenom X3 8450 cost $279, while collection with Phenom X4 9750 cost $349.
