Yesterday Intel presented the first three processors with nehalem architecture . Bloomfield processors LGA 1366 will remain the high end part for this platform up to the third quarter 2009. Intel will not enlarge the assortment of Bloomfield models with the release of more accessible processors lynnfield.
As we succeeded in explaining from reliable sources, Core i7 processors will step over the 3.2 GHz in the second quarter 2009. Consequently, the model core i 7-965 Extreme edition will be replaced by faster model. Intel will develop also LGA 775 processors ; therefore in the second quarter , new models with higher frequencies can appear. Thus, if at the end of November Intel will present the processor core 2 Quad q8300 (2.5 GHz), then in the second quarter 2009 it will be replaced by the faster 45 nm four core with 2 X 2 MB cache in the second level. The dual core processor core 2 Duo e8600 (3.33 GHz) will be also replaced by faster alternative . Let us note that the portion of 45 nm processors core i7 in the total deliveries volume up to the third quarter 2009 will not exceed 1-2%. The mobile four core processors clarksfield in the third quarter 2009 will take its start, having immediately engaged more than 5% of Intel mobile production . | ||
