The processors phenom II X4 will ensure a speed increase by 20% in comparison with their predecessors. In the opinion of experts, basic hopes are lay ed in the increased frequency potential of 45 NM processors, an increase in the cache volume in the third level and the appearance of  high-speed memory support, including DDR 3-1333 for socket AM3 processors. According to AMD presentation we can arrange the priorities factors, which ensure increase in the performance of phenom II processors . If we speak about the architectural improvements at the core level, which increase the quantity of commands per clock , then their influence is minimal - from 3% to 5%. Architectural changes at the cache level give a increase of about 5%, and the increase in its volume result in 20% boost. According to some data,  socket AM3 processors will obtain a faster memory controller  , which works at higher frequency, but a simple memory type change will not ensure this increase . Finally the speed of phenom II X4 processors will be influenced by the increase in the frequency potential, but we can't consider this advantage relative to 65 NM processors phenom X4  - usually comparison is done at equal frequencies.
