OCZ company actively develops its solid-state disks . In the near future, according to our associate , OCZ will release SSD core v3, which in the retail networks will be sold under the name : Apex. Such solutions will become the first products in their segment, which use the built-in hardware RAID- array. Two independent NAND controllers will be united in one SSD in order to substantially increase its speed. The preliminary tests, executed in OCZ laboratories , showed that this approach can ensure to Apex the speed of up to 140 MB/s(write) and up to 200 MB/s (read).  It is expected that the prices of OCZ apex will be a little higher than core v2, which is sold on 250 dollars for 60- GB model and 350 dollars for 120 GB. Related Products : | ||
