The evolution of notebook actively moves in two directions: producers release compact and light notebook with small screens. The representative of last class will become the notebook Adamo from Dell, which is ready to compose competition to the popular apple macBook air.
Associate reported additional details about the characteristics of this dell product . Dell company already buy LG display and Samsung electronics wide-format LCD with thickness not more than 3,5 mm, which can be used for the production of Adamo notebooks.

Notebook Adamo series will be completed with 45 W power unit . It is completely possible that Dell will use in these notebooks the valuable processors core 2 Duo, but not their energetically economical version. As important difference between Adamo and MacBook air, we can note the presence of optical drive . As option Dell will propose a blu-ray drive with serial ATA interface.

Dell Adamo will be proposed with SSD : volume more than 100 GB. Additionally Adamo can be completed with external hard disks ( form factor 2.5 inches ) with 250 to 500 GB volume. Finally, this Dell notebook will come with USB-flash drive ( 8 GB volume ).

Adamo will use the interface displayPort . It is also possible to connect devices with D -Sub, DVI and HDMI interfaces. This notebook model will cost from $1500 to $3000. On sale Adamo products will enter during February in the next year.
