Recently, ARock company presented a motherboard with socket AM3. In this case, even motherboard with socket AM2 and Socket AM2+, will support AMD AM3 processor (limited to DDR2 support only).
Now aSRock published the list of compatible motherboard with phenom II X4 processors. This motherboard producer guarantees the support of both processors AM2+ and AM3 socket.  The support of 45 NM processors phenom II X4 is provided even by socket AM2 motherboard. Among the chipset from AMD production are noted: 480X CrossFire, 790GX, 780G and 770. The list of NVIDIA chipset is even larger : GeForce 8xxx/7xxx/6xxx, nForce 7xx/5xx, and even nForce3 250 and ULi m1695. The new AMD processors require a Bios update to work correctly on those motherboards. Related Products : | ||
