Today about AMD plans ,the change of platforms design  and the announcement of  processors  generation K8L was reported in previous news. We had already cleared that  Ddr-3 support  for AMD processors  will not be provided until  the second-half of 2008, at the same time will appeare the new processor Socket AM3, but thus far supporters AMD can  use Socket AM2 and Socket AM2+. Last socket, will preserve compatability with the processors Socket AM2, and processors Socket AM2+ can  work in motherboards with  Socket AM2. Associates do not say additional commentaries about  the future changes in  AMD roadmap . First of all, they refined that the first processors Socket AM3 with Ddr-3 support will be released on 0.045 m  technology, they will show up in the middle of 2008. In 2007 AMD will calculates to place 55 mln. processors - against 46 mln. processors in this year. Which is characteristic, the portion of dual core processors in this case can be increased from 24% to 60%. It follows to understood, that those leaving by 40% will be occupied with the budget processors of class Sempron, which will not get the second core soon.
