The Processor cooler from xigmatek company is known to us by the technology of straight heat pipes contact with the processor, which repeatedly proved its effectiveness . A similar solution was used in original cooler from OCZ technology company.
Xigmatek company prepares for announcement a new processor cooler with the technology straight contact. This new cooler will obtain the name thor's hammer.

The radiator aluminum plates allow to effectively remove heat- with the use of slow low-noise fans. However, the main update consists in the heat pipes layout : they are located in two levels. if the four U- descriptive heat pipes with the diameter 8 mm come in contact with the processor, then the second tier has the diameter of 6 mm only. Obviously, they serve for the best heat distribution .

With the overall dimensions 120 X 50 X 159 mm, the cooler has the mass of 500 gram. It is possible to additionally equip it with one or two fans standard size 120 mm. The producer asserts that the cooling of some processors can be made without fans. The Fastening system ensures compatibility also with the new socket LGA 1366.

On sale Xigmatek thor's hammer will appear at the end of February, its retail cost in Europe will be equal to 60 Euros.
