We already wrote about AMD company plans to release a budget collection 760G, intended to replace 740G. Suffix G in the name testifies about the presence of built-in graphic core Radeon HD 3000, which works at the frequency 350 MHz and ensuring a complete support to directX 10. Among other chipset functions, we should note the support of hybrid crossFire X , and also the support of hyperTransport 3.0 and PCI express 2.0 interface. But, as it was expected earlier,  760G chipset was deprived from a number of functions: the video function UVD, and also the support of  HDMI and DisplayPort interfaces. The new chipset is compatible with phenom , Sempron and Athlon processors socket AM2/AM2+. AMD 760G will work paired with the south bridge SB710, which ensures support to twelve ports USB and to six ports SATA-300. AMD 760G is positioned as a straight competitor to Intel g41. In gaming application , world of Warcraft with 1280 X 1024 resolution , AMD 760G and athlon X2 7750 processor showed the result of 31 FPS, while the processor Intel e5200, which worked paired with Intel g41, showed the result of 19 FPS. In the test 3DMark'06 the AMD advantage was preserved , the result was 1160 points, system on base Of Intel g41 collected 1060 points. Although both chipsets are located in the identical price segment, new product from AMD confidently anticipates Intel on the performance (gaming performance using the integrated graphic core).
