The announcement of 45 NM AMD processors socket AM3 is planned, according to the preliminary information, for the eighth February in this year. Besides the already familiar four core processors phenom II X4 9xx with 6 Mb cache in the third level, during February AMD will present the four core processors phenom II X4 8xx with 4 Mb cache in the third level.
Here is the processor phenom II X4 805 (2.5 GHz) - low-end models with four core and 4 Mb cache in the third level.
The processor has marking HDX805WFK4FGI, it is released on the 49-Th week 2008, in the beginning of December. Each of four cores has 512 KB cache in the second level, and here the cache in the third level is general, its volume is reduced from 6 to 4 Mb. This processor is based on C2 stepping as its socket AM2+ predecessors. TDP Level for this model does not exceed 95 W.
Here is also the screen shot of this processor, overclocked to 4.0 GHz with 1.45 v. CPU- Z utility version 1.49 do not show correctly the processor design , but it correctly reflects the cache volume in the third level and the default multiplier (12.5x). Related Products :
