Recent qimonda statement about bankruptcy, as it was expected, will allow remaining producers to increase the deliveries volume , and the memory prices must be stabilized and even go upward.
According to DRAMeXchange, the of prices 1- Gbit memory DDR2 already rose by 25%. However, this prices jump was observed during the first tradings day in the new Chinese year . The prices of remaining DRAM production (DDR and DDR2) also grew. Increase in the prices levels reached 10-25% . The market portion of qimonda company was (9,7% at the end of 2008 according to iSuppli data ) so that its withdrawal could strongly influence the common picture. | ||
