Initially,  MSI company stated about the support of socket AM3 processors with the existing motherboard during November last year, but the list of compatible models counted only 22 models. Moreover, for the majority of motherboard compatibility was provided only at the beta bios level . Today MSI company declared about official Bios for the majority of sockets AM2+ motherboard, which can work with socket AM3 processors.
