NVIDIA company plans in the nearest future to officially present a new high end graphic adapter for mobile computers. In this case we deal with the GeForce GTX 260M and 280M, based on 55- nm graphic processors with 128 stream processors and 256- bit memory bus. Specifically, such characteristics are today unique for the mobile graphic adapters.
According to preliminary estimations, the computational power of high end GeForce GTX 280M will be 30% higher, then ATI mobility Radeon HD 4870, and of course noticeably higher than 9800M GTX. Besides the high performance NVIDIA prepares also the GeForce GTS 160M, as a basic competitor to the video card ATI mobility Radeon HD 4670. | ||
