The popularity of notebooks creates a double feeling. From one side, this is almost the only market segment , which demonstrates steady increase in the prevailing economic situation. From the other side, profit rate in notebook production is not so great, and producer can earn only on large sales volumes .
Intel company already promised to release a fast hyperfine notebook , using processors with TDP level not more than 10 W. Those processors are called CULV and relates to Core 2 architecture.
Associate reported that at the end of March Intel will present the processors core 2 Duo SU9600 (1.6 GHz) and Core 2 Solo SU3500 (1.4 GHz), whose wholesale cost will compose $289 and $262 respectively. Those processors will be supported by Intel GS45 chipset. The company intends to divide the hyperfine notebooks in three market segments: in the initial level will come the single core processors celeron ULV, in the mainstream - the single core processors core 2 Solo, and the fastest solutions will be based on the dual core processors core 2 Duo.
Asus and MSI will demonstrate in CeBIT 2009 hyperfine notebooks models on base of CULV processors. In all Intel partners up to June can present up to 20 models new notebooks model based on CULV processors. Related Products :
