On the international exhibition ceBIT 2009, which started in German Hannover, Asus company presented the new energy-effective liquid-crystal monitors.
Asus Representatives assert that the wireless liquid-crystal monitors from Asus are oriented to multimedia users.
The new generation ezLink technology allow users to connect the monitors through a wireless interface WHCI (Wireless host controller interface), ensuring in this case the same performance characteristics, as in usual displays. Furthermore, a connection can be achieved through USB - thus it is possible to combine within one system up to 6 monitors.
Asus reported about two energy-effective liquid-crystal monitors Asus VH192C and VH196 .Using those monitors it is possible to save more than 20% of energy.
