Soon AMD will release a new GPU : AMD RV790 (Radeon HD 4890), which must became a new leader among the single-processor AMD video accelerators . According to associate , NVIDIA is not assembled to leave this GPU without answer . In this case Nvidia will release the Geforce GTX275 : price $249-299 and it will occupy the intermediate position between GTX260 and GTX285. Final GTX275 specifications are not available , but we can expect them already within a week. Supposedly, the GTX275 will have the same amount of stream processors (SP) as the GTX260. The present architecture with 216 stream processors GTX260 composes 9 groups TPC (Texture processing cluster). An increase in the SP number will require one additional TPC group. In this case card with such configuration it will be the clone of the GTX285. According to some calculation, the GTX275 will be the overclocked version GTX260. Supposedly, the core and memory frequencies will be 650 and 1100 MHz respectively. This will ensure superiority over the GTX260 by approximately 10%. Related Products : | ||
