Yesterday we reported about the conflict between Intel and AMD around the creation of GLOBALFOUNDRIES company, which will release products, which uses some Intel developments . The latter is dissatisfied that AMD possesses only 34,2% of actions. In Intel opinion , from this side GLOBALFOUNDRIES cannot consider AMD as subdivision , therefore the conditions for license agreement are disrupted. In the opinion of AMD representatives , Dresden factories, their colleagues, technological developments and intellectual property as minimum is 50- percent in the active GLOBALFOUNDRIES memberships. Furthermore, the existing requirements provide the rights of not less than 50% of voices for AMD , the structure of AMD and GLOBALFOUNDRIES completely corresponds. Plus, AMD will obtain more than 30% incomes and losses in the joint enterprise. Further AMD representatives express that Intel would want to remove from the market all competitors. According to Intel Representatives  , Intel and AMD exist on the market for a period of almost 40 years, and Intel does not desire the withdrawal of AMD from the market, but it only attempts to protect its rights of intellectual property. According to jurists estimation  , even if AMD fails to proof its point of view , a solution will be required for not less than three years. All this time AMD can continue the release of processors and chipset according to the existing license agreement. We will hope that the conflict between the companies will be removed with the minimum losses form both sides. Related Products :
