Solid-state disks in the form of expansion card with the miniPCI-Express interface are adapted in the mobile segment as lighter, more reliable and economical alternative of classical HDD.
OCZ technology company presented a new SSD series with the volume from 16 to 32Gb using miniPCI-Express interface.  Those SSD are divided in two groups, according to the type of utilized internal interface: SATA and PATA. The first ensure the data speed transmission up to 110 MB/s reading and up to 51 MB/s writing. The second have a modest speed indices : 45 MB/s reading and 35 MB/s writing. Related Products : | ||
