Following OCZ, today G.Skill company demonstrated a new solid-state disk series falcon. This device has the standard size 2,5- inch, and it is equipped with indilinx controller . There are three models, with different capacity : 64, 128 and 256 GB. Devices are built on base of NAND- modules with MLC (multi-level cell). As data exchange is used the SATA 3.0 Gbps interface. The memory buffer volume is 64 mb. The declared operating time is 1,5 million hours.
According to official G.Skill producer , falcon device series are capable of reading data with 230 Mbyte(s)/s speed, and writing 190 Mbyte(s)/s. | ||
