For its memory module series dominator GT corsair company promised to present the unique cooling system, which consists on water-block and Peltier module. It promised, that the combination of these elements allows to reduce the memory module's temperature by 20 degrees Celsius in comparison with environment temperature .
This week corsair memory company represented the water-block hydro h30 and the Peltiers module Ice t30, which intended for cooling memory modules series dominator and Dominator GT. This water-block is capable to cool up to six memory modules simultaneously - this allows to use it in systems on base of core i7 processors, which support triple-channel memory.
Ice t30 according to the producer is the first in the world thermoelectric cooler , capable of lowering the memory module's temperature lower than ambient temp. The application of similar devices is combined with some problems - condensation. For this reason Corsair uses a feedback system with sensors, which consider the temperature and air humidity . Under laboratory conditions the module ice t30 allowed to overclock by 100 MHz higher than the use of standard cooling system.
The water-block corsair hydro h30 is proposed in the Internet- store for $59, for the module corsair ice t30 in the complete set with the water-block hydro h30 it is necessary to pay $199. Related Products :
