In the middle of April we reported the tentative characteristics of four core processors lynnfield and Clarksfield, which will be prescribed in the desktop and mobile segments respectively in the third quarter this year.
The first three models mobile processor clarksfield with frequencies 1.6 GHz, 1.73 GHz and 2.0 GHz will have higher TDP values: for the first two processors, the TDP level will be equal to 45 W, for the model extreme edition it will rise to 55 W.
Clarksfield processors will use DDR 3-1333 memory and the design concept socket G1 (37,5 X of 37,5 mm), support hyper-Threading technology, Turbo boost and VT. In the single core regime, the elder processor clarksfield will be able to operate at the frequency 3.2 GHz, the two others can be overclocked to 3.06 GHz and 2.8 GHz respectively. Increase in the frequency in the turbo regime will reach 75-76%! Two elder model clarksfield will obtain 8MB cache in the third level, the low-end model will get only 6 MB cache in the third level.
