We already reported about the delay of core i5 processors and Intel p55 chipset announcement before September.
Associate note , that LGA 1156 core i5 processors and motherboard on base of discrete chipset Intel p55 will appear on sale in the first September. The mass motherboard production will start at the end of July, at the same time will appear the first motherboards models. . The monolithic p55 chip, actually will fulfill the function of south bridge, in this case Intel company request the same amount for the north bridge p45 and south bridge ICH10R. For this reason, it is impossible to make motherboard on base of Intel p55 chipset cheaper than comparable on functionality Intel p45 . The deliveries of Intel p45 chipset with lynnfield processors and associated chipset Intel p55 will cease, but motherboard with LGA 775 will be released also, in 2010 - they will use g41 or P43 chipset.
