In the series Z -Drive , OCZ technology company already proposed 1 TB SSD , but on computex 2009 exhibitions it showed the prototype of another tera-byte SSD : OCZ colossus.  Inside are located two disks on base of MLC memory, united under RAID 0 level using jMicron controller . OCZ promised that the data transmission speeds are up to 265 MB/s on reading and writing operations. The search time will not exceed 0.2 ms. This SSD can work at a temperature from zero to 70 degrees Celsius. The mass of OCZ colossus will be approximately 400 grams ; for connection with the motherboard will be used the SATA-300 interface. Besides the version with 1TB volume , is provided a version with 512 GB . Related Products : | ||
