The first working equipment models with SATA-600 support were demonstrated by AMD and Seagate companies in the beginning of March. It was considered that SATA-600 support from the side of motherboard will be proposed first by AMD company , but on computex 2009 exhibitions there many motherboards with SATA-600 support demonstrated from Intel partners  . The motherboard asus P6X58 premium on base of Intel x58 chipset is also equipped with certain controller with SATA-600 support. This motherboard was tested with hard disks from Seagate production based on SATA-600 interface. According to the results of HD tach benchmark the system with SATA-300 interface ensures the data transmission speed during reading at the level of 200,5 mb/s. In systems with SATA-600 interface this index reaches 337,5 mb/s. Simultaneously Asus showed a system on base of two video cards GeForce GTX 295 MARS with 4 Gb GDDR- 3 memory, which played the game far cry 2 in the resolution 3840 X 2160 without problems. This video card will be put on the market at the end of July. Moreover, Asus promises to preserve the moderate price increase for the unique characteristics of this GeForce GTX 295 version.
