Yesterday appeared official information about the prospects of using the trade marks core i7, Core i5 and Core i3.  Intel Representatives explained, that the company desires to simplify the hierarchy of its processor designations  , after making a brand core universal for processors with contemporary architecture. Modifiers are considered the symbols i7, i5 and i3, which conditionally divide processors in three classes on their productivity and functionalities, and also price. The desktop four core processor lynnfield will come out both in core i7 and in core i5 series. The four core mobile processor clarksfield will relate to the series core i7. The mobile dual core processors arrandale with integrated graphic core will appear  in the series core i3, but with time they will be extended in the series core i5 and Core i7. The desktop dual core processors clarkdale will be proposed under the trade marks core i3 and Core i5. In the beginning of following year will be presented processors for the business- segment: Core i7 vPro and Core i5 vPro. From the previous brands in the following year will survive Pentium and Celeron, which will be arranged in the Price- list under the series core i3.
