Associate reports that samsung company begin the delivery of solid-state disks on base of MLC memory, which have the miniCard format and which use SATA-300 interface. The disk area is up to 80% less than the area of standard disk 2.5 inches. The overall dimensions are equal to 30 X 51 X 3,75 mm, mass does not exceed 8,5 deg ; and energy consumption - 0,3 W.  Those disks are produced in models with 16, 32 and 64 Gb volume. The data transmission speed on reading operations reaches impressive 200 mb/s , on recording operations - 100 mb/s. in the third quarter, this year the given disks can pass JEDEC certification. Samsung company can supply these disks with hardware data coding function . The memory microcircuits for these SSD are released on 40 nm technology. Related Products : | ||
