In the middle of past month NVIDIA company released the notebook video chip GTS 260M, GTS 250M, GT 240M, GT 230M and G210M, which are produced according to the 40nm technical process standards and support Microsoft DX10.1 API.
According to associate NVIDIA have time to develop its desktop versions , whose official production will take place during October.
It is expected that there will be, as a minimum, two versions for the mass market.
G210 will use the printed-circuit boards model p690 and P691 PCB, on which will be placed DDR2 (512 MB.) or DDR3 memory. In this GPU the core works at 600 MHz frequency, 24 stream processors with 1425 MHz frequency and 64- bit memory interface . The cost of this card will lie within the limits 30-35 dollars.
GT 220 is based on GT215-300/D10M2, which will have three versions: P681 (with DDR3 memory), P682 (DDR2) and P680 (GDDR3). It includes 48 stream processors (frequency 1375 MHz), and the core frequency is equal to 625 MHz. The memory capacity will be 1 GB and the bus is 128- bit. These cards will be evaluated at 55-60 dollars. and they must exceed on speed the GeForce 9500 GT. Related Products :
