In the past month NVIDIA company already reported that RAMBUS was forced to turn from the part of claims in the patent sphere right , which were produced by NVIDIA during November 2008. RAMBUS Company asserted that some NVIDIA products disrupt rights RAMBUS intellectual property in the sphere of graphic processor memory controllers.
Yesterday NVIDIA published a press release, in which the company reported the removal of eight claims from the side of RAMBUS. Ministry for patents and USA trade marks rejected all RAMBUS claims , produced on NVIDIA during November last year. Although NVIDIA estimates this event as triumph, RAMBUS sees sufficiently possibilities to continue patent disputes. Now competent authorities reexamine patents RAMBUS, and the company is prepared for further fight. Since in the beginning of this century RAMBUS spent about $300 ml on disputes with different producers, it is not assembled to surrender at this time. | ||
