As we could be convinced, from intel roadmap in 2007 will be released the processor core 2 Duo e4300 (1.8 GHz), which will propose the support of 800 MHz system bus. Furthermore, it will be based on the compact core allendale of stepping L2, which has 2 mb of cache in the second level. The owner of engineering sample processor core 2 Duo e4300 divided us the results of his overclock.   The motherboard is abit AW9D- MAX on the base of chipset  i975X could overclock this processor at the default voltage with the utilization of box cooler to 2.7 GHz, which corresponds to an increase in the frequency of system bus to 50%. Further attempts, connected with the change in the BIOS setups  and with an increase in the processor core voltage , led to the overclock of 3.5 GHz. This corresponds to an increase in the frequency of processor and system bus upto 95%. For an air cooling the result is pretty good but the frequency of overclock 3.5 GHz for processors conroe is not phenomenal  . I please to note that the frequency of system system bus was increased to 390 MHz - similar achievement using the above motherboard was pretty complex, since for equivalent overclock of processor series core 2 Duo e6xxx with 1066 MHz  system bus with the value of multiplier 7x or 8x frequency on the system system bus  would be necessary to raise to 438-500 MHz. However, the processor core 2 Duo e4300 (1.8 GHz) proves to be cheaper and it is more convenient for overclock than Core 2 Duo e6300 (1.86 GHz) and Core 2 Duo e6400 (2.13 GHz). We recall that the annoucement of processor core 2 Duo e4300 (1.8 GHz) is planned on 21 January, its cost in the parties from 1000 pieces will be $163. Related Products :

Don\'t go above 1.5v air cooled (50-60c load temp). what is your current memory and motherboard ?. Use the lowest available memory devinder and start increasing the FSB by 5-10 mhz step get in windows run ORTHOS for 15min if stable restart and increase again the FSB and so on until u get error on ORTHOS . IN this case this is either the cpu ,chipset or cooling limit. For the chipset limit u can try to increase the chipset voltage and check again. Finally check the system stability using ORTHOS for 12-24 hours to get a fully stable system Hope this help.
