Simultaneously with the official release of its central processors lynnfield Intel company decided to present new motherboards. In this case, we deal with the new chipset Intel p55 express. Specifically, this chipset will be used in four motherboards DP55KG and DP55SB ( microATX form factor ), belonging to the series Extreme, and DP55WG and DP55WB (microATX form factor ), belonging to the series Media. This chipset support the central processors LGA-1156 and DDR3 memory . It is worthwhile to note that all motherboards are equipped with four DIMM- slots, which functions at the frequency of 1600 MHz and higher. Only the model DP55WB supports work with the memory at the frequency of 1333 MHz. For connection of graphic adapters the developers equipped this motherboard with one valuable slot PCI express 2.0 x16, whereas the second work only in the regime x8. Intel DP55KG Intel DP55SB Intel DP55WB Intel DP55WG DP55KG, DP55SB, DP55WG and DP55WB are equipped with six ports SATA with 3,0 Gbit/s capacity, they support gigabit net connection, they are equipped with audio controller Intel high definition audio.
