Toshiba company released a new hard drive series standard size 1,8 . They are intended for portable media player and digital video cameras.  This HDD contains one plate with the capacity 60, 80, 120 or 160 GB, and writing density composes 467 Gbit. Devices are characterized by the rotation speed 4200 rp/min, 15 ms access time and maximum noise level 15 dB. They are equipped with SATA interface and have a thickness of only 5 mm. In comparison with the previous Toshiba generation , the new models not only improved their productivity, but also decreased their energy consumption by 24%. Deliveries of models with 160 GB volume already began, while remaining product series MK1634GAL will enter on the mass production at the end of September. Related Products : | ||
