AMD Corporation officially presented a new technology for graphic card eyefinity. It allows users to work with one video card series radeon HD 5800 simultaneously with six monitors and resolution up to 7680x3200 pixels.   This is not the simple possibility to connect devices, but also simultaneous output and scale of any graphic, games and other applications to several screens. Recent demonstration showed the impressive possibilities of this solution. The game world of Warcraft was simultaneously reflected on six dell monitors ( 30 inches ) . In this case, the average efficiency on one video card was about 80 frames per second.  This technology will be accessible, also, for the mobile segment after the release of corresponding solutions, since OEM- customers frequently require the possibility of connection of more than two monitors for the portable devices. So originally it is assumed that the connection of monitors on displayPort technology , and the cost of the cheapest device, based on dell P2010H example, composes 200$ in USA. I.e., 4 and 8 monitors will cost approximately 800 and 1200$ respectively. However, the cost of video card will be in the region of 400$. It is reported that lower segment video card will support simultaneous work with three monitors. Related Products : | ||
