we have reported on how owners of Conroe processors  complain  Futuremark company , not wishing to accept records from this cpu class. The administration of  Futuremark site has made yesterday  necessary changes, and now all owners of overclocked systems on the basis of Conroe processors  can register the results. Records 3DMark06, 3DMark05, 3DMark03 were updated, there were impressing results  with  the 3DMark01 SE test.   As for August  01 2006 the record of 3DMark06 was updated to 15 684 marks. It was  reached in Singapore  using  hand-made cascade "freon", - 90 degrees  Celsius . Processor Core 2 Extreme X6800 has been overclocked up to 4570 MHz working in mode SLI , videocard GeForce 7900 GTX have been overclocked up to 980/2040 MHz..pay attention to the fact, that the system has been built  on a chipset nForce 590 SLI Intel Edition. The maximal result in 3DMark06, achieved before was using the Athlon 64 FX-62 processor ,and was equal to 13 358 "mark". Considering the performance of the new conroe processor the result is quite acceptable.:-) The same system managed to make a new record in 3DMark03 - 59 195 "marks". The processor has been overclocked to 4500 MHz, videocards worked on frequencies of 990/2070 MHz. Last record for Athlon 64 FX-62 is equal to 52 733 "marks" in 3DMark03. On the first place of  3DMark05 have appeared the Scandinavian overclocker with result of 26 278 "mark".  using processor Core 2 Extreme X6800  on frequency of 4730 MHz, and videocards of class Radeon X1900 XTX in mode CrossFire. Last record for Athlon 64 FX-62 was equal to 20 684 "mark" in 3DMark05. Meanwhile, fight for the leader in this tests category  is not ended  - in  the end of this year AMD will present the platform 4x4, allowing to assemble in one system two dual core processor Athlon 64 FX. and Intel will answer with four core processor Kentsfield.
