a sources referring to Intel representatives already informed, that the company has reached the arrangement with nVidia which would allow to realize official support of SLI technology for mobile chipsets of series i945xM. the Taiwan laptop manufacturers has informed, yesterday that nVidia will make the corresponding official application soon. Technology SLI will be officially supported by mobile chipsets i945PM and i945GM. those laptop should use the recently announced processors Merom being mobile colleagues of processors Conroe. Apparently, support SLI is focused for laptops gamers on the basis of chipsets Intel should become one more factor raising their acutual buyers. The Taiwan sources also have informed, that Intel has achieved an arrangement with ATI on introduction of CrossFire support for own mobile chipsets.
