Currently, the specifications of mini-SATA are in the completing phase , products with this connection type will appear soon from Samsung, SanDisk and Toshiba company. On the left, you can see the usual serial ATA, on the right - mSATA. The space savings are obvious, and this is the basic reason for introduction of the new type . Devices with mSATA interface can transfer information in the regimes SATA-150 and SATA-300. During October Toshiba will propose two new disk with  30 and 62 Gb volume, characterized by mSATA port. Devices with mSATA interface will be demonstrated on IDF fall 2009. Simultaneously SATA-IO will show soon devices with SATA-600 support. Related Products :
