Intel company is going to use atom architecture for creating the processors class soC (system-on- chip), used in mobile and everyday electronics. A certain part of atom production will be transferred to TSMC, which will simultaneously allow clients to change the characteristics of processors literally by order. TSMC company already began to increase the production capacities of its fab 14 for positioning larger quantity of orders from Intel. The monthly production volume of 300 mm silicic plates to the end of 2009 will be increased to 6000 pieces, and in 2010 it will reach 30 000 pieces. The first time for the production of atom processors will be used 40 nm technology. Experts also forecast, that the graphic chips larrabee will be released at TSMC factories . According to analyst forecasts , in the next two years larrabee graphical solutions cannot show any essential influence on the market for video cards. | ||
