Within the next few years the processors series atom can become for Intel one of the most important product categories . TSMC will help to increase the production volumes of these processors, and it will at the same time allow clients to configure them under their needs. In the next two-year  Intel plan to release about 12 system-on- chips, which will relate to atom series. Independent analysts, however, see a brighter future to the processors with ARM- architecture, which is adapted not only in smart phone, but also in the so-called smart book - inexpensive compact mobile computers with the valuable keyboard, which cost not more than $200. As reports associate with the reference to the data of information network study, to 2012 processors with ARM- architecture will find higher popularity in comparison with Intel atom processors in the notebook and smartbook segment . It will supply 43,2 ml processors for netbook yearly up to this moment , and  ARM production will be supplied in the volume of 52,9 of ml pieces yearly.
