According to fresh AMD roadmap, the company intends to begin the release of 32 nm  processors only in 2011. To those times new processors will be released on existing 45 nm technical process, mastering new revisions. The nearest change of socket AM3 processors  revision is expected already in this block. This is the four core processors model phenom II X4 9xx, but on AMD site, there are references also about the processor phenom II X 2b53 (2.8 GHz) 6 mb cache in the third level and TDP level not more than 80 W. The processor phenom II X4 965 Black edition (3.4 GHz) stepping C3 will appear on sale already in this month. It will differ from the predecessor in terms of TDP level not more than 125 W, by the optimized switching mechanism between the energy states and the improved memory controller  . It is possible to identify the processors stepping C3 by the suffix GM. Participants in the forum xtremeSystems.org already overclocked this processor to 6.41 GHz under liquid nitrogen.
