The yesterday's release of core i 7-960 processor was coupled with some price drop for Pentium e6xxx processors, which propose to the owners of  LGA  775 motherboard two core on the attractive prices. Although the cost of elder model did not change, it is easy to surmise, that in the next months will appear a processor with the higher frequency. Associate reports about Intel company intentions to release on 17 January following year the dual core processor Pentium e6600 (3.06 GHz) with 2 MB cache in second level and 1066 MHz bus. First this processor will cost $84, which will force Pentium e6500 (2.93 GHz) to descend in price to $74.  LGA 775 processor with core architecture and frequency more than 3 GHz on the price less than $100 is a very advantageous proposal.
