Appearance for DDR3 memory modules with the reduced to 1.35 v voltage was not an unexpected contingency. Memory microcircuit producers already mastered the production of corresponding chips, and DDR- 3 with the supply voltage 1.35 v must become the intermediate stage of evolution on the way to DDR-4.
Kingston company reported that it will also master the release of module DDR- 3 with 1.35 v. The corresponding memory models were even demonstrated on IDF fall 2009 in the compact system on base of 32 nm clarkdale processors LGA 1156. According to Kingston forecasts , DDR3 memory with the default 1.35 v will be widely used in 2010 - both in desktop and notebook segment .
