HDD  production  technologies are constantly  improved. The rates of interfaces and  data exchange grow, the volume constantly increases. Are there any real HDD competitors soon  ? Student  (Chang soo kim) and professor (Mark kryder) studied 13 technologies - possible rivals HDD. Supposedly, up to 2020 will appear hard disks with form factor 2.5 " with volume 14 teras-byte, which will cost only $40. Only two technologies from the now accessible will conquer HDD.
