Yesterday VESA association reported about the release of standard, which describes mini displayPort. The appropriate specifications can be found in the standard Of displayPort 1.1a. The urgency of mini- displayPort grows in light of hyperfine notebook and netbook popularity , which physically cannot place full-scale interface ports.
VESA also reports that it completes the work on the standard Of displayPort 1.2, which increases the interface capacity to 21,6 Gbit/s. This allows to connect to one port several monitors, and to also increase the depth of color reproduction and resolution. Related Products :
