DFI Company presented one of the most uncommon motherboards : The New model obtained the designation HB P45-ION-T2A2, and it belongs to the newest hybrid series . This motherboard includes immediately two platforms - one on base of Intel p45, the second - platform NVIDIA  ion. According to the intention of Taiwan company engineers this product will allow computer to work in two regimes. First, this is work with office applications, which do not require high computational power. In this regime will be begun to operate the platform NVIDIA ion. In the second place, full power mode , in particular, three-dimensional computer games. In this case is activated the system on base of chipset Intel p45. Accordingly, the characteristics of DFI HB P45-ION-T2A2 can be divided in two groups. The first - platform on base of  Intel p45 chipset. In this case, we can speak about the support of processors with  socket LGA775 (Core 2 Duo/quad), four modules  standard DDR2, slot PCI express x16 , six ports SATA . The second group refers straight to NVIDIA ion platform. Here we have the following configuration: the processor Intel atom 230 with operating frequency 1,6 GHz, integrated graphic core GeForce 9400M, two slots DDR2 and form factor SO-DIMM, three ports SATA. It is worthwhile to note that each platform has its separate sound card , gigabit net connection, its own ports USB 2.0 and even video outputs. Related Products :
